Vieques

• Vieques is the island off Puerto Rico's east coast that feels like a whole different trip once you're there. You grab a ferry or a short flight, rent a jeep, and spend your days on empty beaches, boat days in crystal water, and sunsets that don't need a filter. Esperanza is where you'll end up at night for food and drinks, and Mosquito Bay is the bio bay everyone talks about — the water actually glows when you move through it.
